It has been brought to West Kern’s attention that individuals representing a water filtration company, Kern Water Project, have been going door-to door and sending text messages questioning the quality of your drinking water and offering to collect samples. Please be aware, these individuals are in no way associated with West Kern Water District. The District’s water supply is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency, the CA State Water Resources Control Board, and meets all state and federal guidelines.
