The West Kern Water District (WKWD) Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) has prepared this Chapter Groundwater Sustainability Plan (Chapter GSP) in compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) and in coordination with the Kern Groundwater Authority and other local water districts. This GSP describes Projects and Management Actions West Kern will implement to maintain sustainability of the District with the overarching goal that the Kern subbasin reach sustainability by 2040.
